per #9~ look I’m not into a bunch of one upmanship here,but when Rick Springfield came to the 2006 state fair I got to go to his concert on a free front row seat( I didn’t win but got to go w/ someone who had been given some tickets). As you said, he did go into the crown right in front of my seat( I had wondered what the footlocker strapped to the fence was for, turns out it was his step), after the third time, I couldn’t help myself & yeah I grabbed his a$$! & I’m happy to report it was a firm handful! As part of the ticket package we also got to go backstage & say hello, get a pix taken & I even got my backstage pass signed~ Whoo Hoo, it was a heck of a show, he rocked!

Ha! I am so like you! I am celeb obsessed. Though, I have never actually met one in person. I would probably break out in a full on sweat. Oh, wait, I did actually meet the Pioneer Woman and she is just fabulous.

I saw Oprah and she is much, much thinner in person. However, not what I expected as far as personality. I went to her show in 2004.
I saw Bruce Willis and Demi Moore at the Olympics in ’92 in Atlanta.
I also saw Garth Brooks a few Christmases ago at Williams Sonoma in Utica. He was very kind. Everyone I know who has ever met him has had nothing but great stories about him.

And that is pretty much it. I definitely need to go to the casino more .

Thanks again for “finding” me! I think I am going to have to be a regular here especially since we share the same childhood Rick Springfield crush. I mean, how many times did you rewind the butt scene in the movie “Hard To Hold”?

I love running into random celebrities, especially stars from the 80s, the more washed-up the better. I used to live in Los Angeles so I have quite a list. To keep things short though, I will share with you one of my favorites that did not happen in LA. I met and hung out with Vanilla Ice one very intoxicated night several years ago. He probably hates me, because I remember every time he would talk to me, all I could say was “Word 2 Ya Mutha”.

Hi Jenny! I just found you through me through The Bloggess, so she is the Puppetmaster. Glad to “meet” you, I am subscribing because this rocks! LOVE the name Crash Test Mommy.

I’m impressed with your celebrity roster. Since I am from Nebraska originally, I have almost no celebrity encounters, because they all make a point to stay away from Nebraska. However, I did get Muhammed Ali’s autograph in Toledo, and then gave it to a boyfriend. Current Husband nearly divorced me when he found out, five years after the fact. And now I’m going to have to blog about that someday.

I thought Rick Springfield and Lorenzo were so dreamy…
