Extra! Extra!
A couple of weeks ago, I received an e-mail from a reporter for our local newspaper, the Tulsa World. She said she had come across my blog* and had been reading it and thought it was very funny. She asked if it would be possible to interview me for an upcoming article she was putting together about birth order.
Of course I said yes and we scheduled the interview for a couple of days later.
The reporter asked lots of really intelligent questions about my background, my husband, and our children. For the most part, her questions were aimed at proving or dispelling stereotypes of first-borns, middle children, the youngest in the family, and so on. And all nervousness aside, I enjoyed our chat.
The piece ran in today’s paper. Rob was the only one who knew I did the interview, as I wanted to surprise some other family members. I let them read the article and stumble across the references to me and my family. It was awesome.
Anyway, the article is very interesting and a good read, so I thought I’d link to the online version for y’all. And I wanted to say thank you to Cary for including my thoughts.
